Manage Blogs > Install Multiple Blogs Option 2
Here you will be able to upload a CVS
file with the information needed to create multiple-blogs from
only one process.
Upload
CSV file: here
you can click the Browse button and it will open a new window
where you can browse your computer files to where you have your
csv file with the domains you want blogs intalled on. Please
notice the format below, this is how you will enter you domains,
cpanel logins, etc. to successfully install the blogs.
Copy
& Paste CSV file: here
you can enter all the details by copy and paste.
To
create a CSV file with the contents of your domains, you may do
it with an software editor like notepad or textpad. It is
important that when you create your CSV document that you save it
with a file extention (ie. filename.csv) and then you can upload
via wpmanager Batch Install into the section where you have to
browse your computer.
Not
all cpanel hosts when working with addon domains work the same.
Since addon domains are added as folders into the main domain
name, you will have to add some extra fields so wpmdx installs
the blog in the correct folder domain.
Please
see the format below of how each line of the domain's data will
look like in the csv file:
Not
all fields will have data, only if the above applies you will
then need to know the following:
Home
directory begins with?
Set
to the one as required: (home, home1, home2, home3, home4
or ..... home10)
Hostname/domain/addon domain/sub-domain
inside folder?
Set
to the one as required: 0 = no or 1 = yes
###
example when you NEED to use folders when
installing blogs on addon domains (Notice this will install 2 blogs):
"testdomain1.com","webfolder","cpanel user 1","cpanel password 1","home","1","Domain
folder name","wordpress user 1","wordpress password 1","site name","description","category 1","category 2","category 3","category 4","url_title_1|link 1","url_title_2|link 2","url_title_3|link 3"
"testdomain2.com","webfolder","cpanel login 2","cpanel password 2","home","1","Domain
folder name","wordpress user 2","wordpress password 2","site name","description","category 1","category 2","category 3","category 4","url_title_1|link 1","url_title_2|link 2","url_title_3|link 3"
###
example if you WANT to install on a primary domain (Notice this will install 2 blogs):
In
this case the Domain folder name is empty.
"testdomain1.com","webfolder","cpanel user 1","cpanel password 1","home","0","","wordpress user 1","wordpress password 1","site name","description","category 1","category 2","category 3","category 4","url_title_1|link 1","url_title_2|link 2","url_title_3|link 3"
"testdomain2.com","webfolder","cpanel login 2","cpanel password 2","home","0","","wordpress user 2","wordpress password 2","site name","description","category 1","category 2","category 3","category 4","url_title_1|link 1","url_title_2|link 2","url_title_3|link 3"
Please
Note: if you don't wish to add blogroll links then leave
empty the following:
"url_title_1|link
1","url_title_2|link 2","url_title_3|link 3"
(ie.
"","","" )
Please
Note: If you don't want to add some category or link then
just leave empty between ,"",
